Biography. Charles P. Pearson is an accomplished attorney specializing in property insurance law and the founder of Property Claims Attorneys LLC, based in Portland, Oregon. Licensed to practice in Oregon, Washington, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee, Charles has devoted his career to representing homeowners and business owners in disputes against insurance companies. With a track record of handling more than 1,000 property insurance cases, achieving a remarkably high success rate, and recovering millions for his clients, he has earned a reputation as a formidable advocate and a trusted counselor.

Since founding Property Claims Attorneys LLC in 2017, Charles has built a boutique law firm that combines aggressive legal representation with personalized client care. Supported by a fantastic team, he ensures every client receives attentive, thorough, and strategic representation. He understands that property damage claims are often among the most stressful events in a client’s life. Whether confronting wrongful claim denials, underpayment of benefits, or bad faith conduct by insurers, Charles approaches each case with the same unwavering commitment: to maximize recovery for his clients and hold insurance companies accountable.

Before establishing his firm, Charles gained extensive civil litigation experience practicing for law firms in Florida and Oregon. Recognized for his excellence early in his career, Charles was selected as the honorary speaker at the Florida First District Court of Appeal’s Induction Ceremony after earning the fourth-highest score on the Florida Bar Examination. He also scored in the nationwide 98th percentile on the Multistate Bar Examination in both Florida and Washington.

Charles earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, graduating in the top five percent of his class. While in law school, he served as Staff Editor for the Florida Coastal Law Review and Chairman of the Oral Argument Committee for the Moot Court Honor Board, which was ranked #1 nationally. He competed successfully in multiple national moot court competitions and earned numerous academic and trial advocacy awards, including:

Beyond his law degree, Charles holds a Master of Arts in Political Science from Portland State University, where he completed a research project on US national security strategy in Turkey and the surrounding region, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, which included a year of study at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
